Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. and Circuit-Wise, Inc. Announce Merger of Operations

Kanagawa, Japan/North Haven, Connecticut, USA — March 5th, 2003 -- Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese manufacturer of printed circuitry and Circuit-Wise, Inc., a leading North American manufacturer of same, announced today a merger of operations. Both companies have executed a mutual Letter of Intent and expect to close within 90 days.

Through this merger, Circuit-Wise's customers will have direct access to Meiko's high quality, high volume production in China, and their advanced technical capabilities, including HDI and multi-layer fabrication. Meiko will benefit from an increased exposure to the North American market, and from Circuit-Wise's local production and technical support.
